Sustainability
Crafted by hand, rooted in care
Every JaipurFabric piece carries the story of the artisans, the colours and the land of Rajasthan. Here is how we try to give back.
Our philosophy
Slow textiles for a faster world
We work with block printers, dyers and tailors in and around Jaipur, keeping centuries-old crafts alive. We are on a journey to make our process kinder to people and the planet, one small step at a time. (Edit this text to reflect your own practices.)
What we focus on
Our sustainability pillars
Artisan livelihoods
We partner with local block printers and craft families, aiming for fair, regular work and safe workspaces.
Hand-block printing
Hand-carved wooden blocks and human hands — a low-machine craft that keeps Jaipur's heritage alive.
Natural & low-impact dyes
Where possible we use natural and low-impact dyes, and keep exploring kinder alternatives.
Responsible packaging
We are moving towards plastic-free, recyclable and reusable packaging for our orders.
Less waste
Fabric off-cuts are reused for small goods, pouches and packaging wherever we can.
Giving back
A part of our journey is supporting organisations working for children, food and nature.
